Now one of the region's signature summer weekends, this festival began in 1990 as a scrappy two-day event and has since grown into a major regional festival featuring 100+ performances spanning jazz, R&B, Latin, blues, soul, and global music across both indoor and outdoor stages. The 2026 edition leans into soul, R&B, jazz and New Orleans brass, with Patti LaBelle, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Zapp ft. Tuxedo and The Soul Rebels among the marquee names. Beyond the Main Stage, there's a dedicated Latin Tropical Stage on First & San Salvador featuring outdoor salsa dancing and bands like Pacific Mambo Orchestra, plus the after-hours Club Crawl for those not ready to call it a night.
