Lunar New Year is a state holiday in California, and last year’s Celebrating Together event was a tremendous success. The 3rd Lunar New Year Silicon Valley is proudly organized by Ding Ding TV, Vietnamese in San Jose, Silicon Valley Community Media, BigBang Artwork, Silicon Valley Central Chamber of Commerce, IndiaCurrents, PhuNuCali, and Philippine News Today.
This year, the 3rd Lunar New Year Together will take place on February 22nd at Ding Ding TV (3350 Scott Blvd., Building 54, Santa Clara, CA 95054) from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It’s a perfect opportunity for families to come together and enjoy a vibrant celebration.
The event features multicultural performances and art demonstrations by Chinese, Indian, Filipino, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, and American artists. Attendees can enjoy diverse Asian cuisine, including Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese dishes, kosher cuisine, and vegetarian options.
Families will find plenty of activities, including games for children prepared by the Silicon Valley Central Chamber of Commerce. Cultural and arts booths will showcase crafts, clothing, and more. Kids can look forward to red envelopes filled with real money.
The event will also host the Civic Leadership Forum Silicon Valley, titled “Bring Communities Together to Stop Hate”.
Tickets are free but limited, so registration is required to secure a spot and ensure food availability. Your registration confirmation serves as a food coupon ticket.
Each person attending must register individually, meaning a family of four requires four separate email addresses for registration.
