Celebrate freedom, culture, and community at the African American Community Service Agency’s 44th Annual Juneteenth in the Streets Festival. Held in downtown San Jose’s SoFA District, this free, family-friendly event honors African American heritage with a vibrant mix of live music, food, art, and educational activities.
Attendees can enjoy performances from local and national artists across genres like R&B, gospel, hip-hop, and jazz. The festival also features a variety of food vendors, art displays, community resource booths, and a “Tribute to Greenwood” panel discussion that will explore the legacy of Black Wall Street, and the ongoing fight for reparations. With an average attendance of over 6,000 people, it’s one of the Bay Area’s most anticipated cultural celebrations.
