Hanami is the practice or custom of viewing cherry blossoms when they are in full bloom. What better place to experience Hanami than at Hakone Estate and Gardens in Saratoga. The gardens are a fascinating place to visit any time of the year, but come alive during the cherry blossom season. During this time, Hakone opens its gates to night viewing every weekday from March 23rd - April 15th @5:30pm - 9pm. Tickets are $10-15.
A special fundraiser Hanami & Highballs at Hakone will be held on April 5th 6pm - 9pm. The fundraiser is $500 (tax deductible), and RVSP is required by March 31st.
