The 2026 San Francisco Chinese New Year Festival and Parade, celebrating the Year of the Horse, spans several weeks of vibrant cultural festivities from mid-February through early March. The celebration includes:
- Zodiac On Parade (January 31 – March 8, 2026) – Colorful zodiac statues are displayed throughout San Francisco, celebrating the Year of the Horse.
- Flower Market Fair (February 14–15) – Chinatown streets come alive with fresh flowers, festive decorations, and New Year traditions.
- Choy Sun Doe (Day of the God of Wealth) (February 17) – Red envelopes are distributed to children to welcome prosperity for the year ahead.
- Chinatown YMCA Run (March 1) – A community run celebrating health, culture, and neighborhood spirit.
- Miss Chinatown USA Pageant (March 6) – A long-standing cultural tradition honoring leadership, heritage, and community involvement.
- Community Street Fair (March 7–8) – A massive weekend fair featuring acrobats, folk art, food vendors, and live entertainment.
