The Los Altos Kiwanis Pet Parade, a cherished community tradition since 1947, will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 10:00 am in Downtown Los Altos. This free Los Altos Heritage Event, traditionally held annually on the Saturday following Mother's Day, draws the attention of both children and adults along with their beloved pets.
Participants, including dogs, cats, birds, chickens, turtles, and even worms, gather in the hundreds, while spectators, numbering in the thousands come to witness the festivities.
